Marshall Viney (‘13)
Director, ORIX USA
Marshall Viney is a Director for ORIX USA, where he focuses on making equity investments in middle and lower-middle market companies alongside independent sponsors. Mr. Viney is responsible for private equity deal origination, investment underwriting, as well as ongoing oversight and analysis of existing portfolio companies. Mr. Viney currently serves on the Board of Directors for Tax Advisors Group, Infrastructure Services Group, HaystackID, Andersen Commercial Plumbing, eegee’s, and Reliable Medical Supply.
Mr. Viney brings more than a decade of experience in private equity, advisory and management roles with lower middle-market companies to ORIX USA.
Mr. Viney earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Accounting with a second major in Economics from Washington and Lee University. He also holds a Master of Business Administration from Columbia Business School.
Christian Kallen (‘07)
Managing Director, Hamilton Lane
Christian is a Managing Director on Hamilton Lane’s Fund Investment Team, where he focuses on fund investment opportunities in North America.
Prior to joining Hamilton Lane in 2010, Christian worked in the Private Funds Group at UBS Investment Bank, where he was responsible for due diligence and project management of private equity fundraisings. Previously, he was with CMP Capital Management-Partners GmbH, a private equity firm specializing in turnaround investments in German-speaking Europe.
Christian received an M.B.A from Columbia Business School and a diploma in Economics from the University of Bonn.
Allison Cole (‘06)
Managing Director, Head of Fundraising & Investor Relations, Lightyear Capital
Allison Cole is a Managing Director and Head of Fundraising & Investor Relations at Lightyear Capital, a financial services-focused private equity firm based in New York.
Prior to joining the firm in 2018, Ms. Cole spent 13 years at CCMP Capital Advisors (formerly JPMorgan Partners), a middle market buyout and growth equity firm, where she was a Managing Director and Head of Fundraising & Investor Relations. Ms. Cole began her career in private equity at Morgan Stanley Capital Partners.
Ms. Cole holds a B.S. in Business from Wake Forest University and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.
Managing Director, Private Capital Group at MSD Partners, L.P.
Mr. Grover joined MSD in 2009. Mr. Grover currently serves on the Board of Directors of WIRB-Copernicus Group and represents MSD on the Boards of Owl Rock, UFC and TNS. Mr. Grover also oversees MSD’s legacy investments in BrightView and Kobalt Music. Prior to joining MSD, Mr. Grover was at Merrill Lynch where he worked in the Global Private Equity and Mergers & Acquisitions groups.
Mr. Grover graduated from Harvey Mudd College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering and double majored in Economics at Claremont McKenna College.
Michael Caiati (‘99)
Partner, Park Hill Group
Michael Caiati is a Partner in Park Hill and a member of the Park Hill private equity team at PJT Partners, based in New York. He has been a senior member of the firm’s private equity origination and project management team for over thirteen years. Since 2005, Mr. Caiati has successfully led capital raises in private investment funds focused on a variety of strategies, including small and mid-market buyouts, distressed opportunities, credit, venture capital and emerging markets. Prior to Park Hill, Mr. Caiati was with Gabelli Group Capital Partners, a family office where he invested in private equity and hedge fund partnerships. Mr. Caiati received a BS in Biology from Hobart College and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
CEO and Chief Investment Officer, Dunes Point Capital
Mr. White founded Dunes Point Capital in 2013, and has 22 years of experience in the financial industry, with the last 18 years exclusively dedicated to private investing. He has originated or overseen the investment of over $4.3 billion in private investments.
Prior to founding Dunes Point Capital, Mr. White was a Senior Managing Director of GSO Capital Partners (“GSO”) and Blackstone, where he served as Head of GSO Private Equity Investing, Co‐Head of Mezzanine Investing, and Co-Portfolio Manager for GSO’s Capital Opportunities Fund I.
Mr. White received a J.D. from Columbia University School of Law (Stone Scholar and Thomas E. Dewey Prize Winner), an M. Phil. from Cambridge University, and a B.A. from Brown University (Magna Cum Laude). Mr. White has served on over 30 corporate and charitable boards.

Limited Partner & Senior Advisor, BBH Capital
Douglas Maine is a Senior Advisor to BBH Capital Partners and is actively involved in sourcing, investment evaluation and providing post-investment value-added oversight to portfolio companies. He is a director of Nobel Systems Corp, a BBH Capital Partners portfolio company. Mr. Maine retired from IBM Corp. in 2005, after serving as its CFO, the general manager of IBM.com and the general manager of IBM Consumer Products Industry.
In addition to his responsibilities with BBH Capital Partners, Mr. Maine serves on the board of directors of two public companies – Albemarle Corp. (NYSE: ALB) and Orbital-ATK, Inc. (NYSE: OA) – and is a member of the PCAOB - SAG and is an Executive in Residence for Columbia University's School of Business. Mr. Maine graduated from Temple University and received an MBA from Hofstra University.
