Ameya Agge

Portfolio Manager, BlueMountain Capital Management, LLC

Ameya is a Portfolio Manager on the Healthcare Investing team, Ameya is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and executing healthcare-related investments.

Prior to BlueMountain, Ameya was at Apax Partners, where he worked for 11 years specializing in private healthcare investments at their New York and London offices. While at Apax Partners, Ameya served on the boards of several healthcare platform companies. Prior to joining Apax, Ameya worked for the CEO of Dr. Reddy's Laboratories and as a consultant with McKinsey & Company. Ameya received an MBA with Honors from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He also received a master’s degree from MIT and a bachelor’s degree from IIT Bombay in Chemical Engineering.

Derek Strum

Partner, Clayton, Dubilier & Rice

Mr. Strum joined CD&R in 2003 and is currently a Partner focused on healthcare investments. He plays a key role in CD&R’s investments in agilon health, Carestream Dental, Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare, Healogics and Smile Direct Club, as he did for CD&R’s prior investments in AssuraMed, Envision Healthcare, PharMEDium and VWR International. He also serves on the Board of the Digestive Disease Research Foundation. Prior to CD&R, he worked in the investment banking division of Morgan Stanley and at York Capital Management, a multi-strategy investment firm. Mr. Strum graduated from Emory University with a B.A. in Economics and earned an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.



Matthew Levine

Partner, EQT Partners Inc

Matthew Levine joined EQT Partners in September 2014 and is Partner and Head of EQT Mid Market US advisory team. 

Matthew graduated from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business with a BS in Economics.  He also received an MBA from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Business. 

Prior to joining EQT Partners, Matthew worked at American Securities, a New York based private equity firm (1999-2002, 2004-2014). He joined American Securities from Salomon Smith Barney, where he worked in the Financial Entrepreneurs Group (1997-1999). 


Matthew Michelini

Partner, Apollo

Mr Michelini is a Partner and Co-Head of Hybrid Value Fund at Apollo, having joined in 2006, where he has been part of the firm’s Private Equity business focused on various sectors, including financial services, metals and mining, and business services. Previously, Mr. Michelini was a member of the Mergers & Acquisitions group at Lazard Freres & Co. Mr. Michelini serves on the board of directors of Athene Holdings, Athene Asset Management, Onemain Holdings, Venerable Holdings, and Aleris International Inc. Mr. Michelini is actively involved in various charities dedicated to helping underprivileged children in New York City.

Mr. Michelini received his MBA from Columbia University and graduated from Princeton
University with a BS in Mathematics and a Certificate in Finance.


James Christopoulos

Managing Director, CVC Capital Partners

James is a member of the CVC North America team. He is based in New York. Prior to joining CVC, James was a Principal at Investcorp, which he joined in 2005 from UBS. James holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Columbia University.
