Julian Steinberg (‘05)
Co-founder, Alliance Consumer Growth
Julian co-founded Alliance Consumer Growth and together with his colleagues they have built ACG into one of the leading consumer growth investment funds in the United States. Julian oversees current and prospective investments for ACG and currently sits on the Boards of The Honest Kitchen, Tata Harper, NUDESTIX, Pacifica, Clio and Way Better Snacks. Julian was previously a board member of Babyganics, Krave Jerky, Krisers Natural Pet, Suja, DenTek Oral Care and Plum Organics.
In 2015, ACG was named by GrowthCap as one of America’s “Top 25 Growth Equity Investment Firms” across all industries. Also in 2015, Julian and his partners Josh Goldin and Trevor Nelson were all named to Fortune Magazine’s “40 Under 40” list, which recognizes the most influential young people in business. Julian has also been named one of the top “40 Under 40” investors in growth equity.
Julian holds an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School and a B.A. in History from Brown University. Born and raised in NYC, Julian is married with three children and a dog, is an avid tennis player, enthusiastic outdoorsman and below average surfer.
Adrianne Shapira (‘99)
Managing Director, Eurazeo Brands
Adrianne is Managing Director of Eurazeo Brands. She brings extensive consumer/retail perspective after having worked on the sell-side, assumed an operating role and held various private and public Board seats. Adrianne spent over 13 years at Goldman Sachs as a Managing Director, where her retail coverage spanned Tiffany, Ralph Lauren, Nordstrom, Macy’s, TJ Maxx, Costco, Target and Walmart.
More recently, she held the CFO role at David Yurman, a privately-held American designer jewelry brand with an omni-channel global distribution platform.
She currently sits on the Boards of Kohl’s Department Stores and Hain Celestial and had previously served as a Director at Gilt.
Adrianne Shapira has a BA from Tufts University and an MBA from the Columbia Business School.
Partner, KarpReilly LLC
Billy Logan is a partner at KarpReilly, LLC, a consumer-focused growth equity fund. Billy has long-term experience investing in Restaurants, Food & Beverage and DTC / omni-channel retail businesses. Prior to joining KarpReilly in 2008, he was a partner at Apax Partners and a principal at Saunders Karp & Megrue, a middle market private equity firm. Billy serves on the board of directors for California Fish Grill, FitLife Foods, Salt & Straw Ice Cream, Wilde Brands and Y7 Studio. He is a board observer at Hungryroot. Billy is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and remains involved with UNC.
Managing Director, MidOcean Partners
Eric Roth joined MidOcean Partners in 2018 and focuses on investments in the Consumer space. Eric has nearly two decades of experience in the consumer retail space, most recently as a Managing Director and Head of the Consumer Retail group at Lazard Middle Market. Prior to joining Lazard Middle Market, Roth was an Associate in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group of Dewey Ballantine LLP, a New York based, international law firm. He received his Juris Doctorate from Georgetown University Law Center and graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics-Political Science from Columbia University.
Principal, Advent International
David Roberts joined Advent in 2012. Prior to joining Advent, David worked for the Quadrangle Group, a middle-market private equity fund, focused on investments in North America and Asia. Previously, he was at Bear Stearns in the Financial Sponsors Group in New York.
David has an MBA, with Honors, from Wharton and a BA from Princeton University.

Prior to L Catterton, Jon was with The Parthenon Group, a strategic advisory firm. At Parthenon, Jon worked with private equity portfolio companies to drive revenue growth and profit performance through strategy formulation and operational improvements. Jon received a B.A. from Middlebury College and a JD from Cornell Law School.

Robert H. McCooey, Jr. is Nasdaq’s Global Head of Capital Markets and a Senior Vice President of Nasdaq’s Listing Services unit. He is responsible for Nasdaq’s relationships with the financial sponsor and investment banking community. Additionally, Mr. McCooey manages Nasdaq’s new listings efforts throughout the Americas and the Asia Pacific region.
